Bitstamp toughens requirements for its customers
Bitstamp cryptocurrency exchange has toughened a user verification process within its KYC program, according to Bitcoin.com.
The new rules will affect customers who want to make deposits and withdraw capitals in fiat money.
In particular, users will have to provide screenshots of their accounts from other exchanges, bank statements and verification of e-wallet addresses.
The new requirements have already been highly criticized by users. Reddit has obtained an innumerable number of complaints. Customers feel indignant, as they are not going to waste their time for collecting necessary documents. If the new rules come into force, a lot of users threaten to leave the Bitstamp exchange.
